have immediate need for:
Controls
Engineer –
Experienced Controls Engineer with a demonstrated
commitment to safety for manufacturing and maintenance activities, preferably
in a heavy industry environment.
Preferred
Expertise:
• Project Management in regards to project
scope development, cost estimation, planning and scheduling, design,
construction, purchasing and installation or modification of existing
equipment.
• Automated controls and monitoring systems, PLC’s and control networks. Ex. HMI, servos, control logix, etc
• System controls integration
Preferred
Experience in:
• Development and implementation of
predictive/condition – based maintenance program, including knowledge of
predictive and condition monitoring technologies and utilization of predictive
maintenance technologies, such as
infrared and thermo-graphic scan.
• Hydraulics and pneumatic systems
• Daily operations and maintenance support in solving
recurring issues and support maintenance on scheduled and unscheduled outages.
• Power system modeling, fault and arc-flash analysis
and protective relay coordination
Ability to:
• Apply research principles and techniques to the
design, development, or testing of electronic systems for equipment and
facility.
• Supervise on-site contractors in the planning,
scheduling and coordination of major projects
• Support all department functions with technical
understanding and know-how by responding to daily equipment issues and assists
in trouble-shooting and evaluation.
Basic
Qualifications•
5+ years of experience in controls or automation or
equivalent combination of experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes,
statistical analysis, experimental design and technical reporting procedures
• Good understanding of financial data
• Competent working knowledge of extrusion processes,
customer specifications and quality systems
• CMMS is a plus

Mechanical Engineer –
Position
Description:
Performs research, design and development of
manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and
production equipment.
·
Prepares and
maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
·
Coordinates the
manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals,
training team members and evaluating results.
·
Designs,
develops and tests and/or sources and cost-justifies
various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
·
Performs product/process
analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
Requirements
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelors
Minimum Years of Experience: 5
Minimum Travel Required: 0-25%
Basic Qualifications: BS in Mechanical Engineering
5-7 year's applicable experience
Knowledge of MS office, excellent written & oral communication skill
Ability to perform designs using AUTOCAD
Preferred Qualifications: Electrical control/PLC a plus
NDT Technician –
UT/RT Level 3 Manager
Responsible
for overall development and implementation of the Qualification and Certifications of
all nondestructive testing personnel in accordance with ANST (SNT-TC-1A).Create
and implement training curriculum and provide formal hands on training for
certification examinations of Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, Radiographic, and
visual testing team members.
Ensure
proper ultrasonic, radiographic, dimensional and visual inspection of all
fabricated pipe within the facility. Develop and audit procedures in accordance
with ANST and API standards. Responsible for system procurement and procedure
development utilizing automated equipment and best practice techniques.
Key Job Responsibilities
·
Conduct performance audits to assure code compliance
and recruit technical staff.
·
Implement Radiation Safety Program in compliance with
state of
·
Implement welding inspector certifications for AWS
D1.1.
·
Create weld procedures and witness welder
qualification and destructive testing.
·
Interface with customers and customer representatives
in association with manufacture and welding of line pipe.
·
Technically represent company in field and bid and
production meetings and produce technical response papers.
·
Ensure proper documentation, and archiving of NDT
testing results.
·
Prepare histograms representative of system
capability and process control.
·
Ensure equipment accuracy through instrument
calibration procedures, documentation and required standard checks.
·
Ensure all safety procedures and job safety analysis
meet required regulations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelors Degree in Engineering
(mechanical, electrical, or other engineering functional area) at minimum;
· Level 2&3 RT/UT Certification
· Intimate knowledge of steel pipe
processing (mill/weld/coating) industry
· Minimum 5 years experience in pipe
or fabrication industry
· Strong working experience in a
liaison role between manufacturing and
end user customer, along with demonstrated problem resolution skills
· Knowledge of Radiation Safety
